Illustration: SHIOK!? Think Again.

SHIOK! Think again is a postcard  series aimed at young adult living a fast-paced lifestyle.  The main objective is to encourage them to be more aware of consuming calorie-laden local food. 
    They say that Singapore is a makan country. It’s true! This work serves as a reminder that eventhough local foods are very tok kong, they’re often unhealthy and should be consumed in moderation. Two of many essential food are Chilli Crab and Char Siu. 

    The typography based illustration are meant to look disgusting as to instantly attract people’s attention. They suppose to distorts people’s view on calorie-laden local dishes and make the food look unapealing. On the back of the postcards explanation about the respective dish will be given with the closing statement being ‘Once a week? Can lah’ to remind people that these foods can still be enjoyed but in moderation.
